Welcome to my Blog where I show local cruising activity around the port of Victoria on Vancouver Island for the annual Alaska cruising season including our personal cruises and travel.
We started cruising in 2001 and our best cruise was to embark on Cunard’s 175th Anniversary Voyage from Liverpool to Halifax . This actual voyage was July 2nd to July 14th 2015 from Southampton – Liverpool – Halifax – Boston – New York.
It allowed me to recreate the same voyage I took as a child from Liverpool to Halifax on the SS Cavina. Now that is a n important milestone for me as an adult , to come full circle.
On April 4th 2017 we took our second Cunard cruise on the Queen Victoria (17 days) from San Francisco to Fort Lauderdale through the Panama Canal. That was wonderful and need I say how we enjoyed the warmth.
I am now retired after spending many years in the medical computer systems area and electronic communications of information to and from medical practitioners.
I am blessed with four grandchildren, two daughters and their families.
and not to forget my two granddogs ‘Mr Pinot (Border Collie) and Ms Lucy (Labrador)’
It’s good to see a fellow true cruiser giving so much information on his local ‘patch’. It’s given me an idea Rob.
Well done.

Good evening Rob, Glad to see your Blog going from strength to strength though the link you have used on CD doesn’t work.
Thanks for the balanced comment on the same website. You are correct in the assessment, I don’t suffer fools gladly.
Keep ’em coming.

Much appreciated Richard
I was agast with some of those replies as I do not believe one should ignore all the good work you have done over the years we have known each other
Sure I know you do not suffer fools gladly

Will check my link on CD
They did remove my link to your blog

Take care
